Synopsis:

This TVB Drama starts with MING SUM-ON (Lee Sze Kei) running the jewelry shop after her husband passed away. With the help of two jewelry designers, MA HO-MAN (Cheng Tse Sing) and his wife CHENG KIU (Teresa Mo), SUM manages to make the jewelry business a big success.

Later on, SUM had a divorce with MAN and this changes eveything. SUM’s youngest uncle (Lee Sze Chit) tries to help them maintain their relationship, but it doesn’t work. On top of the dispute with KIU, SUM is also troubled by the Administrative Consultant CHU BO (Lau Tan) who is assigned by her husband’s family and the rebellious step daughter SHEK HO-YEE (Aimee Chan).

After the divorce, KIU restored from depression with the comfort of her best friend LAM CHING-LING (Kristal Tin). KIU immersed herself completely to work and became a demanding workaholic. Consequently, she is promoted as chief designer and achieves great success at work.

SUM’s younger brother MING SAI-ON (Lai Yiu Cheung) returns from abroad to work as a doctor specializing in plastic surgery in LING’s Beauty Group. SAI becomes KIU’s neighbour coincidentally but KIU instantly dislikes him for he acts as a fickle lover who earns women’s money hypocritically. However, as the two of them always meet each other and gets to know each other, the repulsion has turned into mutual attraction and they are soon in a relationship…

Synopsis:

Hoi Sing and his mother, Ho Wai Sum are running a home appliance manufacturing factory inherited from Hoi Sing’s father. Hoi Sing’s uncle, Hoi Leung wants to acquire their business no matter what it costs. Hoi Leung is a sneaky businessman who doesn’t care much about family ties. Leung’s wife, Cheng Ming Chu and daughter, Hoi Mei Sze try hard to help Leung mend ties with Sing and eventually succeed when they manage to convince Leung to put the acquisition of the business on hold.

In order for Leung to own the land of which the factory sits on, he plants a spy, Fong Lai King in Sing’s factory. To help her son and convince Leung to give up on acquiring their business, Wai Sum reveals to Leung a long-kept secret. To strengthen their business, Sing invites his friend, Chung Lam Tai to work with him.

Unfortunately for Sing, Lam Tai betrays him and worked with Leung. Unfortunate events never stop. Sing’s fiencee, Chuk Yiu Kwan calles off their wedding because she couldn’t help herself thinking of her ex-boyfriend. These unfortunate events indirectly forced Sing to be even more determined; forcing him to use tougher tactics against his family member.

Taxis are the commonest public transport we can see on the roads. Rushing along the road every day with a vibrant mix of passengers of all kinds, what taxi drivers see and hear is so varied than one can ever imagine. You must have the experience of coming across a taxi driver who has lots to chat with from daily news to even rocket science. Retired taxi driver Ho Kaa (Kent Cheng) returns to the job after his son Ho Ka-Bo (Raymond Wong) is convicted of causing death by drunk driving. The incident has worsen the already fractious relationship between the father and the son. Ka-Bo reflected himself during his time in the prison.

Ka-Bo works for Kau after his release from prison. Before long, he has another serious road accident, in which Kau is also involved and severely injured, both mentally and physically. Ka-Bo feels so guilty towards his father and comes to understand the importance of careful driving. He maintains a high degree of vigilance while driving but still gets picked on constantly by female traffic police officer Ko Lai-Sum (Kate Tsui). This pair have gradually developed a strong attachment to each other and finally become lovers. But Ka-Bo’s ex-girlfriend Cheung Hiu-Man (Sonija Kwok) and SUM’s grandmother Ko Li Shuk Ching (Lee Heung Kam) turn out to be the obstacle to their relationship, leaving the pair stranded in dismay along the tunnel of love, but their prudence let them to finally work out things.

A traditional chinese ghost story with Po Chung-Ling (Steven Ma) who was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright. His father, Po Poon (Elliot Yue), has always longed for his son carrying on their family business. Ling, mistakenly thinks that Poon is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, Ko Jit (Sunny Chan), is a constable who hates corrupted officials as much as Ling does. There is a rumor running about a fox spirit is creating all the troubles in Jinan. Ling is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with Jit. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named Ling Wu Siu-Tsui (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves Ling so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, Tsui starts to fall for Ling.

Po’s family has then secured a large order of New Year. They hire a lot of female workers to make sure the work can be accomplished in time. Lau Sum-Yu (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with Ling and Tsui which later turn out to be a sad story.
